The 2016 schedule
  • April 30
    • The Cedar Café reopened.

When visiting the nursery we invite you to have a meal at our Cedar Café. We prepare delicious and healthful meals that include appetizers, soups, sandwiches, desserts and daily specials. All food is prepared fresh in house every day. Inside you will be surrounded by a tropical garden of fern, philodendron, orchid, vines and more. On warmer days you can sit overlooking the gardens on our second floor deck or sit next to the bubbling babbling brook under the grape arbour. We can accommodate group functions such as meetings and reunions for up to 75 people. Please book in advance.

  • June 18 - July 17
    • Rose Weeks

A full month when each morning at dawn roses are collected from around the nursery so that we can show you a sample of most every rose that is blooming at the nursery. The massive stone table will eventually have over 100 cultivars on the table.

  • July 2

  • July 16

  • July 16 - August 17
    • Daylily Daze

When it is daylily time at the nursery we gather a rainbow of colours to put on the stone table. These are perennial work horses that can provide flowers over a long period, even though each flower lasts but one day. You will be thrilled by the multitude of their faces.

  • August 6
  • August 13 & 14
    • Artists in the Garden

A wonderful blend of artistry displayed by the artists, surrounded by the colours, fragrances and textures of the Corn Hill gardens.

  • September 17
  • Sept. 24 & 25
    • Grapefest

Harvest time at the nursery. Watch cider being pressed from apples fresh from the orchard. Taste and buy fresh, organic apples, pears, and grapes. Samples to all. Join us in the barn for seminars on growing fruits in the Maritimes. There will be live music, a beer and wine garden and a landscape of fall colouors.
