Learn how to graft your own fruit trees as well as how to cultivate and prune your orchard.
- May 2 - DESIGNING YOUR GARDEN
There is no right way to design a garden, but there are principles that can guide you toward successful, beautiful designs.
- May 16 - SPRING PERENNIALS
There no time like springtime for perennials. See and learn about the vast array of perennials available.
- June 6 - RHODODENDRONS AND AZALEAS
These colorful and exotic plants are often tricky to grow in the north. Learn about new hardy rhodos that are available.
- June 20 - HARDY ROSES
The hardy roses are not hard to grow. Find out about the wide range of roses that do well here and how to grow them without chemicals.
- July 4 - SUMMER GARDEN TOUR
This is going to be an extensive tour of our gardens and will give you a chance to ask questions about plants that interest you.
- July 18 - BUILDING A WATER FEATURE
We'd like to let you in on the secrets to building water features, not just the mechanics but how to maximize the aesthetics.
- August 1 - LATE SEASON PERENNIALS
Often the late garden lacks color. We'll show you late summer and fall perennials that will add 'wow' to your outdoor space.
- August 15 - THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PRUNING
Pruning worries many people. We will guide you on the timing of pruning as well as the principles behind it.
- September 5 - BUILDING STONE WALLS ($20 FEE/$30 W/ LUNCH)
We will spend this first stone seminar solely on the methods used to create beautiful and solid stone walls. If you would like to participate be sure to bring steel toed boots and gloves.
- September 19 - BUILDING PATIOS AND WALKS ($20 FEE/$30 W/ LUNCH)
The second in our stone seminar series will concentrate on the principles of laying patios and walks that will be stable and pleasing. If you would like to join in, please bring steel toed boots and gloves.
