Preparing for winter.
Nothing but shadows
in the retail area.
All the tables and display towers are empty.
Many of the potted plants have been stored
under solar blankets for the winter.
Roses have been dug and are being graded.
The plants are trimmed and bundled for cold storage.
Plants are put into a controlled environment
for the winter for shipping in the spring.
The roots are buried in moist sawdust.
Even the greenhouses are empty.
Yes winter approaches.
