The benches are empty,
even the stream has dried up.
The grapes have been pruned
and many plants put into controlled climate storage
for spring sales,
from apple trees
to roses.
Searching the gardens, you can still find
textures,
soft grasses,
green
even some colour
as well as intriquing growth.
Corn Hill is snuggling in for the winter
