Zone 3 - 10m / 32ft - Actinidia kolomikta
Often called the Tri-Color Kiwi, the males, and some females, produce leaves with white and pink variegation during flowering that persists. It can form a large vine or can be pruned in a similar manner to grapes. The fruit is oval and the size of a large grape. Flavour is very similar to the fuzzy kiwis, perhaps sweeter. Begins to produce after 2 years.
Requires a pollinator - must have at least one male and one female plant.
One male can pollinate up to nine female plants.
Both must be Actinida kolomikta type.
