Bassino is an excellent groundcover rose. Each plant will cover 1m / 3ft or more in width, but will only grow to about 0.25m / 1.5ft in height. Its long lax stems bend under their own weight. The flowers are single, come in clusters, and are a deep true red. This is one of the later roses to come into bloom, but will repeat in waves through the summer and into fall. Dead heading old blooms helps speed up this process.
