Aronia melanocarpa

Low plant with glossy leaves and pink blossoms, followed by dark purple fruit the birds love. Intense red fall colour. Growth habit is similar to red chokeberry but a little less leggy. Quite adaptable in many soils but thrives in well-drained, acidic environments.
