Zone 2 - 3m / 10ft

Lonicera tatarica ‘Honeyrose’

Honeyrose Honeysuckle, introduced by Bailey Nurseries in Minnesota, is a vigorous, upright shrub that produces deep pink flowers in late spring, followed by an abundance of red berries in the fall. This hardy variety has replaced older cultivars due to its resistance to the Russian aphid, which commonly deforms honeysuckle shoots. Preferring moist, well-drained soils, Honeyrose Honeysuckle thrives in full sun but can also tolerate some shade. If the soil is acidic, adding lime can improve its growth. An excellent choice for hedging, privacy screens, or mass plantings, this honeysuckle offers both visual appeal and practical functionality in the landscape.
