Picea abies

Large European conifer with drooping branches and large cones. Popular in general landscape use. Pyramidal in shape and dark green in colour, it has a strong leader, horizontal secondary branches, and pendulous tertiary branches. Will require ample space to grow and spread its limbs. Purple coloured cones in the spring turning light brown as they mature.
