Mid-late season

Wealthy is no doubt a tough tree, with some of its earliest trees planted in the late 1800s and early 1900s still living and producing fruit today. Wealthy’s skin is streaked with red, becoming heavily blushed in full sun. Its flesh is white, sometimes tinged with red. Fruit becomes mature just before the late season apples. Resistant to scab but not immune.
