Corn Hill Nursery Raspberry Cane Bundles

Raspberry Cane Bundles

$24.00
CONTACT FOR AVAILABILITY

Planting in early spring is recommended. Canes should be planted 50cm/1.5ft apart, and have at least 2m/6ft between rows, although some growers plant rows closer. Raspberries grow best in well drained soil. The ideal pH level in soil for raspberries is between 5.8 and 6.5. Raspberries fruit on two year canes. After a cane produces fruit, it dies. These canes should be cut off and removed in late fall to allow more room for the new canes to grow and produce fruit the following year. Avoid pruning the tops of the canes, as most of the production occurs in this area.

Cultivars

  1. K81-6: mid-late season, large firm berries and canes are very hardy and vigourous

  2. Nova: mid season, tall, nearly spineless and high yielding, some flowering in fall, bright red firm fruit, great flavour, very hardy

  3. Royalty: late season, berries are sweeter than other varieties. Can be picked red or purple.

Bare root canes
SOLD IN BUNDLES OF 6

Quantity

  • 1 = 6 canes

  • 2 = 12 canes

  • 3 = 18 canes, etc.
