A small tree with compound foliage that turns brilliant shades of yellow, orange, and red in the fall. Female plants have fuzzy pyramids of berries. Plants will sucker, making it an excellent choice for erosion control and naturalization. In a lawn situation simply mow any small suckers that appear.
