William’s Pride is an early season apple that is medium to large in size. It has a waxy skin that changes from greenish yellow to a deep, rich purple-red. The colour is boosted by a bluish bloom that covers the apple, giving it the appearance of a blackish-red colour. The flesh of this apple is crisp and juicy with a balance of tart and sweet. Resistant to cedar apple rust and apple scab, as well as fireblight and mildew. Moderate to heavy annual bearer, and fruit hangs on well after ripening. One of the finest early disease resistant apples released to date. Great for organic production.
