A later bloomer, Sarah Van Fleet has fragrant, clear pink, semi-double blooms. While not quite as hardy as some of its rugosa relatives, she does very well in our garden with only the top half experiencing wither killback. Will grow taller in warmer areas, but under northern conditions will remain quite small. This rose does not set hips. Can suffer a bit of blackspot, and possibly a touch of mildew.
