Henry Kelsey Rose (bare root)

from $25.00

Zone 4a - Canada. Svejda, 1986 - 2.5m / 8ft

Parentage: Rosa kordesii Wulff × D24

This introduction of the Explorer series has long arching canes that can be tied up and used as a climber. Though it is possibly better classified as a rambler. If left to grow naturally, Henry Kelsey is low, arching, and pendulous as a bush. It is very vigorous, with deep red petals and golden-yellow stamens. Flowers appear in early summer and repeat until the first frosts. Resistant to powdery mildew and blackspot.
